The BYD SEALION 5 is driven by BYD’s advanced Super Hybrid DM technology. “DM,” or Dual Mode, allows the car to operate as both a hybrid—combining electric power and petrol—and a fully electric vehicle, offering up to 86 km of pure electric range with its dual Blade Batteries.


The intelligent control system (the “i” in DM‑i) enhances hybrid efficiency, achieving fuel consumption as low as 2.1 L/100 km. With a full charge and tank, the SEALION 5 Super Hybrid can travel up to 1,016 km.
